UHS have officially announced the valedictorian and salutatorian for the 2023 senior class. 

IB senior Siya Patel is the class of 2023’s valedictorian. “I feel honored to be representing women and people of color on such an important day. I want to make sure everyone is heard and understood on graduation because it’s such a big accomplishment for everyone,” said Patel. She was accepted into both the Doctor of osteopathic program at Nova Southeastern University and the University of Florida honors program and is still deciding where to go.

The salutatorian of the class of 2023 is Juno Marques. “This is definitely not something I expected but I am definitely happy about receiving this honor,” said Marques. He is still waiting to hear back from some universities but was accepted to the University of Florida’s honors program and hasn’t decided where he will commit to.
