Halloween Horror Nights is celebrating its 31st year with The Weeknd house: After Hours Nightmare. After Hours Nightmare house is a significant feature of Halloween Horror Nights this year, The Weeknd fans, including myself, became very excited over the announcement that this would be the newly themed house. The Haunted House is inspired by The Weeknd’s popular album called After Hours. Walking into the Haunted House felt like being in a music video with graphic visuals. I liked how they incorporated the Weeknd’s songs, In my opinion, After Hours Nightmare house wasn’t as scary as I expected because it was more of a vibe than a scary feeling.

The other houses that Halloween Horror Nights features are Halloween: Micheal Myers’s house, Descendant of Destruction, which is an abandoned subway station, Hellblock Horror, where inmates from prison are trying to break free, and The Horrors of Blumhouse with a 2 in 1 house, inspired by two of Blumhouse movies Freaky and The Black Phone.

Micheal Myers’s House, Halloween was my favorite house because it was the scariest and most amusing to me. The haunted house was set up as a maze and Micheal Myers could’ve popped up at any moment and tried to chase you.

The wait times for the haunted houses are the worst part of Halloween Horror Nights because it is always crowded, but it is always worth the wait.

Halloween Horrors Nights occur every night around the beginning of September till Halloween every year. Every night lasts from 6:30 pm to 2 am and features 10 haunted houses and 5 scare zones and 2 live performance shows.
