Softball Season Ends With a Loss


The Varsity Softball season ended with a loss against Winter Park.

   The Girl’s Softball season has come to an end with an overall result of 3-20-1. 

   Their final game against Winter Park was a loss, with a score of 0-10. “The season was pretty good even with all the losses. It could’ve been better,  but we need to just put it behind us and move forward as a team for next season,” said sophomore Atalia Castro.

  With many of the athletes being new to the sport at the high school level, the players focused on building their skills and coming together as a team. “To be honest, I think we did pretty good for the season because we had a lot of people who have never played before on the team, and throughout the season you could really see the progress of how everyone has been playing as a team,” said sophomore Kiera Juergen.

  The girls will continue to improve and work hard to have a great season next year. “All the girls tried their best, I’ve seen so much improvement from everyone throughout the season. This was a new learning experie
