University High School’s SGA hosted talent show took place on Friday, February 7th. In the auditorium, students met up to show off their singing, dancing, and instrumental skills in front of judges and a packed crowd. The event brought many families and friends together for a night filled with entertainment and creativity.
An impressive group of girls, Mai Nguyen, Hailey Blue, Savannah Richardson, and Victoria Richardson, won first place in the talent show after performing a group dance to Armageddon by aespa. “Winning the talent show was so surreal and amazing since this was my first time performing in it,” said Mai. The girls remained synchronized throughout the performance, showing the judges that they were well prepared. The judges seemed impressed with the girls’ sharp moves and chemistry as a group.
Singers Stella Castro and Angela Bardot sang If Momma Was Married, granting the second place title in the talent show. The musical duet from Gypsy is a playful and humorous song and was well delivered by Castro and Bardot. The harmonies from the two girls made their performance memorable and entertaining for the judges and the audience.
The UHS Majorettes did a fantastic job with their performance, winning third place in the talent show with their energetic routine. They kept the audience engaged throughout the performance with their impressive tricks and movements. The Majorettes remained synchronized and confident throughout their routine, showcasing their hard work and dedication to the judges and audience.
