Cougar Stadium is set to host the Crush Colonial game on Friday, October 25th at 11 AM. The game was originally scheduled for Thursday, October 24th at 6 PM , but administrators decided to push it back.
This year, the event has been rescheduled to prioritize the safety and security of all students and attendees. The date change follows several incidents in past years where students engaged in poor behavior both during and after the game. “We have experienced students making very poor choices during and after this game over the past several years and we are seeking to eliminate that proactively,” stated Principal Tom Ott. School officials are taking precautionary measures to foster a safer environment.
As with previous games, there will be a fee for tickets and parking. Students and families should prepare in advance to ensure a smooth and enjoyable game experience for all. The Crush Colonial game will abide by the same rules as any other after-school event. Spectators are encouraged to rally behind their team while following school rules and demonstrating good sportsmanship.
