The Varsity Girls Soccer season concluded with a total of five wins, eleven losses, and a single tie.
Although they had a challenging season, the team strived to improve their performance. “I think we really connected as a team and improved on our skill sets”, said junior player Zaniya Draper.
The final district game resulted in another loss for UHS with a final score of 0-7. The team still made an impressive effort. “We improved a lot. We held them off until halftime so that was good,” said Draper. Despite difficulties on the field, the girls demonstrated resilience throughout the game.
